As soon as we get our new microscope, we will take pictures and post. My students do think based on this experiment that a chemical reaction will occur on other metals if exposed to water or other types of liquids.

We just observed the leaf under the microscope. We are not sure are these insects (plant lice) or mites. Did you know what is this?
